If so, you should consider a game night. Do so, and you and your friends are all in for treat.

Think about it. Game night it is easy and super affordable. Gather up some friends or neighbors, secure a venue (someone's house, coffee shop, bar), put together (or order up) some treats and tasty beverages, gather up some games and you've got an evening.Β

Now for the best part - the games.

First, decide how many games you want to play. Some games are more lengthy than others, so plan your time accordingly and let your guests know.

Second, decide on a game theme. Perhaps you'd like to do some childhood classics (Clue, Life, Monopoly). Maybe some great thinking games (chess, Trivial Pursuit). How about a game that is a great icebreaker for you and your friends (Would You Rather)? Are word games your style (Taboo, Scrabble)? Do you want to put your artisitic and creative skills to the test (Pictionary)? Inner actors and adventurous types in your group (Charades)? Wanna beat the odds and also combine skill and luck? (Poker, Yahtzee)?

The possibilities are endless.

So you like what you've seen so far, clicked on some of the links above, and want to give it a shot.

You don't own any of those games, but you want to.

First, ask around. You can probably borrow them from someone. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, check out spring garage sales or our local thrift stores (just make sure you have all the pieces before you buy). Local stores like , and Teaching Toys have great selection of games to purchase (look for sales or go in together with others on purchasing a game).
