Meet Paul Barnes, Overseer Of University Place Parks And Youth Sports Coach

He's worked with the city for 13 years.

Paul Barnes has been with the City of University Place for 13 years, almost the entire time we have been a city.

He is the supervisor for the park land within the city overseeing all of the various operations that pertain to the upkeep and renovation of the city’s park land.

Coaching youth sports is a passion with Paul, having been doing it for the last 23 years. He is especially involved with the recreation programs of the city where he has both his sons involved with the various programs offered in football, basketball, and baseball. If you want to get Paul into a great discussion, ask him about his sons and the programs they are participating in.
