Looking for Easter Events Around University Place?

Egg hunts and other events are on tap for this weekend. Here are some we know about--add yours, too!

Easter is just around the corner, and egg hunts and activities are planned around the South Sound.

Here are some we know of. You can still add yours to our calendar of events.

• An Easter egg hunt and "eggstavaganza" are planned in Fircrest at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30. Events start at 9 a.m. in the Roy H. Murphy Community Center at Fircrest Park, 555 Contra Costa.

• The Sounds Fun Mom website has a full list of egg hunts and Easter activities around South Puget Sound. They include three in Tacoma on Saturday, March 30. Check out the link for full details. (There isn't an egg hunt planned at Cirque Park this year, as there was last year; a UP Patch Facebook reader asked about it, and organizers tell us they are looking for a bigger space and hope to resume next year.)

• The "Lamb of God" Easter oratorio is being performed at the Tacoma LDS Stake Center at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 31.

If your church, organization or business is holding a special event, or your restaurant is putting on an Easter brunch, post them on Patch for free. You can also add them in the comments below.

If you're not sure where to start, check out this handy step-by-step guide (with a video tutorial) to posting events on Patch we've created. A hint: adding a photo will make your event "pop" on the events listing page.
