Last Day At The Fair

This is your final chance to pick up a world-famous scone or elephant ear before this year's fair ends.

Today is the last day to “Make Your Escape” to the 2011 Puyallup Fair, and there’s lots in store no matter what the weather holds.

Yes, 2011 marks 100 years of yum for Fisher Fair Scones, and they sold their 100 millionth scone during the Puyallup Fair this year. It’s your last time to celebrate this anniversary, so grab a bag of scones to take home. While you’re here, sample that last onion burger, carmel apple, deep fried butter, elephant ear, or other favorite Fair food.

College Fair Today

Over 40 colleges, universities, technical schools, community colleges and more are represented in the Education Department today. Whether you are graduating from high school in June, or graduated years ago, this is a perfect opportunity to talk with college representatives, all in one building.

 

Everyone Pays Kids’ Prices Today

All day today, adults pay kids prices, $9 for gate admission (regular $11), when you download a coupon atwww.thefair.com, and give it to the gate ticket seller.

 

The Shoppe – Returning to Wander Down Memory Lane on Sunday

If you have loved the Fair for years, then you’ll remember The Shoppe, a group that was a mainstay at the Coca-Cola Stage for over 20 years. They sang, they entertained, and they became favorites of countless fans over the years. And they are back for a special appearance TODAY at 6 p.m. at Coca-Cola Stage. See Jack and Clarke Wilcox and the rest of the crew.
