Is It Winter Already?
Despite what some statues around town might indicate, University Place enjoyed a sunny day that reached the low 60's today.
The "Sharing" statue at Cirque/Bridgeport Park might be a little misleading. Despite the knit hat and scarf that one of University Place's favorite families is donning, today's temperature reached 61 degrees at the Tacoma Narrows Airport, and 63 degrees at Joint Base Lewis McChord, according to the National Weather Service's Seattle office. The sunny weather is expected to last through Thursday and could reach 66 degrees tomorrow.
