Here's Where And Where Not To Go During Soundview Trail Closure
Portions of the trail at the Chambers Creek Properties will be closed until Dec. 16, as Pierce County prepares for the 2015 U.S. Open.

In preparation for the 2015 U.S. Open Pierce County is making a variety of changes to the Chambers Bay Golf course and a few trail alignments. Due to these changes a portion of the Soundview Trail will be closed for safety purposes.
The closure area includes the North Meadow Gates at the overlook to the Central Meadow . This portion will be closed beginning today through Dec. 16.
Pierce County says it apologizes for any inconvenience the work may cause and appreciates residents' cooperation as it prepares for the 2015 U.S. Open.
