Grab And Go Kid's Planner, May 4th

With Mother's Day on the horizon, Patch provides you with some ideas on how to spend time with the kid, whether you're called mother, mom or mommy.

This week's installment of the Grab And Go calender features a few things that Mom would love.

(Ahem, for those who have forgotten Sunday is Mother's Day. This is a perfect excuse to slip out of the house and get creative)

We love you, Mom:

When/Where: 11 a.m., Wednesday  at the Tacoma Art Museum.

Why Go: A trip to the museum is not always looked forward to by the youngest members of our families, not usually having developed a sense of art appreciation quite yet. Story time with Leroy is a good excuse to visit the current exhibit, while the stories being shared are related to the work you'll be viewing.

Price: Free with museum admission.

When/Where: Time varies from location to location, at your local Home Depot store!

Why Go: Home Depot's first Saturday workshop conveniently falls the day before Mother's Day. So that makes you super last-minute folks in luck.
