Grab & Go Kid's Planner, March 30th

Patch presents this week's edition of your family friendly calender.

Sports? Check. Crafts? Check. Musical Goodness? You bet! And even a little something for your furry kids (the dogs of course).

When/Where: 4 p.m., Thursday at Curtis Highschool.

Why Go: Cheer on the Curtis Vikings at a home game against Federal Way.

Price: Free and Open to All.

 

When/Where: The first Saturday monthly. Time varies by store location. Available at all Home Depot locations.

Why Go: Get your hands dirty with a project. Perhaps something to pay homage to the impending holiday like Easter?

Price: Free, open to all.

 

When/Where: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., the first Friday of every month at the Tacoma Children's Museum.

Why Go: A perfect opportunity to explore, play learning games, build towers or paint a picture. The Children's Museum will keep your little one busy for hours and likely be ready for a hearty nap afterwards.

Price: Free, of course.

 

When/Where: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday atin Gig Harbor.

Why Go: This young local band that plays tunes spanning everything from the 1950's to contemporary jams, will rock your socks. Go to shake your groove thang with a coffee (or perhaps a glass of wine from their extensive wine list) for you, and get a hot cocoa for the young 'uns.

Price: Free

 

When/Where: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday at Volunteer Park and Discovery Golf Course.

Why Go: Fun with the whole family, including our furry friends, family pets. The dogs will get the chance to sniff for eggs containing treats (concessions will be open for the human brood) and the kids will get to see a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Prizes also will be given for best, most unique holiday wear.

Price: Free and open to all. Please have all dogs on a leash.

 

Twist and Shout: The Definitive Beatles Experience

When/Where: 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the Pantages Theater.

Why Go: Bring some of the big kids and sit in awe of some talented musicians as they channel one of the most influential bands of our time.

Price: $22, $32, $42 or $58 per seat.
