Families and kitefliers flocked to Chambers Creek Park on June 29 to celebrate the second annual Kite Festival, hosted by Pierce County Parks and Recreation and Pierce County Kitefliers Association. Kids could make their own kites, while avid fliers dazzled the crowd with choreographed routines.
