CONTRIBUTE: Duck Daze 2012

Well, I am here to publicly eat crow.

Or duck.

My ducks, despite weeks of training, failed me Saturday during the . It was a pitiful performance; a showing of mallard futility. My ducks turned into chickens, apparently.

For all the Patch users who predicted my duck downfall, you win. Patch users 1, Patch editor 18,397. But who's counting?

However, the day wasn't a total loss. I got to meet tons of new people while working the Patch booth at the Get Local business fair in Market Square. I gave out water bottles, tote bags, t-shirts, pens and other branded goodies. After all, we love branding our users.

There was other stuff that made Duck Daze 2012 extra special, including the Duck Parade, Treasures in the Park, the car show and the open house at West Pierce Fire & Resuce.
