American Legion Band, Elvis To Headline Curran's Concerts

The summer concert series continues at the Curran Apple Orchard.

Red, white and blue, and a whole lotta shakin' going on.

Sounds like summer fun at the Curran Apple Orchard. Here's the update from the city:

Rousing patriotic tunes along with an appearance by Elvis are scheduled for upcoming concerts at the Curran Apple Orchard Park in University Place.

There are two more FREE concerts, which are held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.:

Thursday, July 28 – Rousing patriotic tunes along with popular musical medleys (such as songs from Fiddler on the Roof) will be performed by the Department of Washington American Legion Band.

Thursday, Aug. 11 – Bring out your blue suede shoes so you can do a whole lot of shaking, rocking and rolling at the Danny Vernon’s Illusion of Elvis Show (www.dannyvernon.com). 

The Curran Apple Orchard Park is located at 3920 Grandview Drive West in University Place.

Picnic fare is available for sale from the UP Kiwanis.  No alcohol is allowed.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will be relocated to the Curtis High School Cafeteria, 8425  40th St. West.
