9,000 Calories... And An Antenna Topper

Enumclaw's Jack In the Box restaurant was Beau Chevassus' place for the World's Most Expensive Fast Food Burger.

Vegetarians, beware: Beau Chevassus claims he's created the most expensive fast food burger, and there isn't a vegetable to be found on it.

And he found it right here in Enumclaw.

With 20 beef patties, "several" orders of bacon, every kind of cheese Jack In the Box carries, ham and a sourdough bun, this 12.5-inch high burger contains enough calories to last five days, 9,044 total, if you adhere to the 2,000 calories per day principle. The cost of this Vigenuple Jumbo Jack? $38.23, helping Chevassus achieve his goal of finding the World's Single Most Expensive Fast Food Burger. He promptly made a video out of the experience and put it on YouTube Aug. 9.

"I chose Jack in the Box because, having worked there before, I knew and tearfully appreciated how they honor American individualism by making exactly what you order. Plus the people there are super-nice folks," he said on his YouTube page.

The Seattle-based Chevassus had previously found the World's Most Expensive Starbucks Drink, a $47.30 Quadriginoctuple Frappuccino (40 shots of espresso). He has appeared on the Today Show, the Dori Monson Show and KOMO TV, and the video was featured on Jack In the Box's social media sites.

Chevassus makes more than just viral videos, but he has fun with the ones he does.

"If only 200 people view this thing, hey - as long as me and a couple of employees at Jack in the Box had fun, I am a happy camper," he said.

And what about the burger?

"Yes, I will finish it... eventually."

But he'll always get to keep the antenna topper.
