The end

Patch was a good idea, but apparently did not have a business model that could support it.  There were expenses above that of a standard website because it was done so well.  Up to date news of the community, an active community bulletin board, etc.  This takes a staff and a staff has to be paid something higher than minimum wage.  Best of luck to those being let go today in finding employment.
