A popular Fircrest skating rink re-opened this past week, and on Friday held a grand opening party.
The grand opening of Rolling 253 - located at 2101 Mildred Street on the University Place border - was something roller fans in UP, Fircrest and Tacoma had been waiting for.
The rink closed under its former owners last year.
