Learn how to prune fruit trees and get first hand experience during free pruning classes at the Curran Apple Orchard Park in University Place.
 
Master Gardeners will provide free instruction at a pruning class from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9,  at the United Church Fellowship Hall, 3912 Grandview Drive W.

Novice and experienced pruners are also invited to attend free pruning parties scheduled on the following Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:

-Feb. 11

-March 10 & 24

-April 14 & 28

-May 19.

Please bring work gloves, pruners, loppers and hand saws if available.
Some tools are also available at the barn. Refreshments will be provided.
